On July 4th, 2009 the 24/7 channel Motorvision TV launched on Sky Germany as Germany’s first automotive-themed television channel. Sky is the leading pay-TV platform in German-speaking Europe. As part of Sky Germany’s basic channel package “Sky-Welt”, Motorvision TV – operated by German Car TV Programm GmbH – is available to all 2.8 million subscribers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
On November 10th, 2011 Motorvision TV launched on the pay-TV platform OSN in brilliant HD. The channel is now available to subscribers of the packages “Premier Plus HD” and “Platinum Extra HD” in 22 countries of the Middle East and North Africa.
